Fiona Debell

With a background in online sales and marketing Fiona has worked in new media since 1999 and has been with Q Web since its conception.

Fiona's role within Q Web Development, in the promotion of our ninja like Web Development skills, is to lend a 'non-technical' voice in an industry where acronyms and techhie speak can be overwhelming. Our mantra has always been 'Web Development in Plain English' and Fiona is the epitome of that - she is not technical she knows what works.

Developing her specialisms over time, Fiona also heads up the Qmailer team. Qmailer is a professional on-line e-communication product, leading the way in e-newsletter creation and broadcast. Utilising client data to create intelligent, targeted and interesting communications we have seen Qmailer go from strength to strength over the last 6 years.

Nic Skitt

Having worked in Web development since the tender age of 16 (when most people did not even have a mobile phone, let alone access to the internet), Nic has many years experience in commercial web development.

Nic has worked on projects of all sizes, and for companies as varied as the NHS, the BBC, Trinity Mirror, Mercedez Benz and Mazda (UK) to name a few.

Nic has taken Q Web from strength to strength, retaining a core of long term clients with whom we have worked for many years. Specialising in PHP development and a mix of web technologies such as AJAX, JavaScript, MySQL, SQL Server, HTML, XHTML, XML. Nic is unique in that he is both customer facing and a fully functioning web developer. He knows his onions. If you have a web question, Nic is the one to ask.

Nic is nifty with a Shotgun and regularly pootles out to the skeet to shatter a few clays.

Jay Broughton

Jay is our Head Web Developer. An indispensible member of our team, his core development skills are in PHP, MySQL, JavaScript (including jQuery), AJAX, Smarty, XHTML and any supporting frameworks. He is highly technical but can communicate like a human! Having a chat with Jay is not like talking to a robot.

Jay is particularly good at listening to customer requirements and translating them into specifications for a project. If you know what you want but not how to go about it then Jay is the man to talk to.

Jay is learning to play the Guitar and he makes a mean Curry. Though not at the same time.
